Quality Sport Provider

Quality Sport Provider

The Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program is designed to guide member organizations throughout the country toward best principles for organizational development both on and off the field. Member organizations play an essential role in the development of players, coaches, and officials and provide both the daily playing environment and primary contact for participants. By raising the standards of member organizations, both the daily playing environment and participant experience are enhanced; thereby improving the overall soccer system in Canada.

Canada Soccer has mandated that all member youth clubs (inclusive of not-for-profit and for-profit organizations) must hold a minimum Club License of "Quality Sport Provider." There is no cost to obtain the QSP Club License.

To complete the initial application, Clubs will need to provide the following information:

•    Club Information
•    Contact Information for the President, Executive Lead, Technical Lead and individual submitting the application
•    A Letter of Commitment which must outline the Club's commitment to:
the methods & values of Long-Term Player Development,
        Safe Sport,
        the Ontario Soccer Grassroots Standards,
the Ontario Soccer Talented Player Pathway,
not interact with unsanctioned organizations, unless approved by Ontario Soccer,
        being a good community citizen.

The letter must be completed on official Club letterhead, with a signature from an individual with executive authority to bind the club, and be in PDF file format.

Following submission of the initial application, clubs will complete a confidentiality agreement and then be sent a package outlining the steps to complete the full application through Canada Soccer's QSP Portal. Information on the program and link to apply can be found here: Canada Soccer Club Licensing.
